About

In the early years of Jim’s career he started out as a photographer, but over time transitioned to became a traditional artist.  Soon after adding illustrations to his creative repertoire and knocking on doors with a portfolio in hand, assignments began to come in and included story boarding, layout designs, presentations and architectural pen & ink drawings. His work would become noted for realistic detail and vibrant colors and the projects quickly grew from the small local market to also include corporations from around the country.

Jim was able to build upon a modest client list of private collectors and businesses to having his work appear nationally in various forms, including on The Home Shopping Network.

While enjoying that early success and learning the ropes in a competitive field, Jim educated himself in the digital process as well and elevated his level of expertise and became well versed and experienced in both print and web design. With that added knowledge his versatility and skillset have been key in maintaining a long list of satisfied customers in freelancing and successful employment as an on-staff designer.

For most of his career Jim has lived and worked in Orlando, Florida where he continues today as a creative specialist. While graphic and web design remain Jim’s primary career focus, his love for photography is still in the flow of things and also a part of each day.

Sharing a "Rock Star's" Name

"My introductions never cease to generate the typical, 'I thought you were dead' comments. I've been hearing it ever since 1971 and finally became accepting of it, but I assure you, I am the other Jim Morrison - Not The Dead One".
